Through two years of studying computer science in high school, I had a basic overview on the knowledge about software, hardware, and network. For example, I learned about the basic structure of the CPU (Vonnewmen’s architecture) and programming languages (python). These information are all theoretical knowledge, even though they are very useful and important, it is undeniable that it is a bit dry, so I wanted to find a way in which I can play around with it more and make my way on the journey of learning more interesting.
So, I searched on the internet about what is suitable for a high school student to make through their knowledge. Finally, I found a very interesting device – Raspberry Pi. They claim that it aims to “engage millions of young people in learning about computing and how to create with digital technologies outside of school, through online resources and apps, clubs, competitions, and partnerships with youth organisations.” That is exactly what I wanted. I told my parent about my thoughts and they were very supportive, my dad purchased it immediately in the online store as my New Year Gift. (Looking forward to my Raspberry Pi🤩)
